I was never a gifted athlete.

 

But through years of structured training, I became an athlete capable of dunking at 5’7.​

Tayo Dunk at 5'5

Tayo

Vert increase: 2-3 inches in 6 months

Tayo is one of the most athletic and genetically gifted athletes I've coached. He's 5'5 and started at around a 45 inch vertical already dunking. After training on GetUP for about 6 months, he went from knee pain to doing windmills and 360s.

Tony Dunk

Tony

Vert increase: 5-6 inches in 5 months

Tony is 5'9 and started at a 35 inch vertical only able to touch the rim. After going through his first macrocycle on GetUP, he tested a 40 inch vertical for the first time and can now dunk consistently.

Ryan Dunk

Vert increase: 4-6 inches in 6 months

Ryan is 32 years old and 5'8. After 6 months on GetUP, he got his first dunk and increased his vert by 4-6 inches. He has also lost 25+ lbs and is at his vertical PEAK.

Dan increased his vertical by 3-4 inches in 1 year at 38 years old. He tore his ACL and MCL on his left knee. Partially torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in the other knee. He tried multiple different vertical and coaching programs, and none have worked better than GetUP. Now he is jumping the high seas jumped in his life at 38 years old.

Brett had a clunky and slow jump technique before GetUP but is now able to transfer his speed into the jump more efficiently. He has also lost 20 lbs and gotten stronger in all of his lifts since starting.

Anthony was barely able to touch the backboard before GetUP but is now able to get half his hand above the rim consistently. He has also PR'd on all of his lifts since joining GetUP.

Robin has dealt with a lot of knee pain prior to GetUP.  In just 6 months, we were able to get him fully healthy and dunking consistently at 5'10 through gradual exposure and load management. He is now jumping at all time high levels.

Jorenz

Vert increase: 3-4 inches in 6 months

Jorenz dealt with a really bad stress fracture that had him out for a few months. He was also jumping at an elite level before the injury. Throughout the next few months, our goal was to get him healthy while increasing his outputs with strength + plyometric training. He has now PR'd his vertical at 41.5 inches.

Tyler

Vert increase: 6-8 inches in 10 months

Tyler dealt with chronic knee and achilles pain for multiple YEARS before joining GetUP. He was unable to jump or play sports without pain but always wanted to get his first dunk. Fast forward 10 months, he achieved PRs in all major lifts, his first dunk, jumping 40+ inches, and is now throwing 2 handers consistently at 5'8.
